Privacy policy
This page explains what happens with your data when you visit the Thriller Night landing page or join the waitlist. Short version: we only use your details to get you into the party, we don't sell anything, and we delete the waitlist after the event.

Waitlist
When you join the waitlist we process your first and last name, email address, the number of guests, optionally your phone number, your consent, the time of sign-up and – if you came via a link from a post or ad – the campaign parameters of that link (UTM parameters, referrer). Purpose: managing the guest list, sending you the confirmation, your ticket and a reminder before the event, and contacting you at short notice if a spot frees up (phone, only if you gave it). Legal basis: your request to attend the event (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR) and your consent (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR).
Your data is stored in a Google Sheet and emails are sent via Gmail (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google may transfer data to the USA; this is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Retention: waitlist data is deleted after the event. If you ticked “Keep me posted about Günter events” and confirmed via the link in our email, we keep your first name and email address for event news until you unsubscribe – every email contains an unsubscribe option, or just reply to any email.
Spam protection: the form uses a hidden honeypot field instead of a captcha – no third-party service, no tracking.
Hosting & server logs
This page is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, with servers in the EU and USA. Netlify processes technical access data (IP address, time, requested page, browser) in server logs to deliver the site securely; logs are kept for a short period (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR). Netlify is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Fonts
The fonts used on this page (Lexend Zetta, Outfit) are hosted on our own server. No connection to Google Fonts or other font providers is made.
Meta Pixel (only with your consent)
If you accept in the cookie banner, we load the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland). It tells us which of our Instagram posts and ads bring people to this page and whether they join the waitlist (“Lead” event). Meta may link this data to your Meta account and use it for its own purposes; data may be transferred to the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. Without consent no Meta code is loaded and no cookies are set. Local storage
The page stores your cookie decision and – during your visit – the campaign parameters of the link you came from in your browser (localStorage / sessionStorage). No cookies are set without consent.
External links
Links to Google Maps, WhatsApp and Instagram open the respective services; their own privacy policies apply once you are there.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Just email hello@guenter-wien.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at).
